Day Camp Fun at Gallatin Shalom Zone

This is always a fun event, and we serve the community at the Gallatin Shalom Zone by playing with the children at the day camp. Activities include tie-dyeing T-shirts, Making Bracelets, Decorating Pretzels, and Playing Pickleball. They are followed by lunch and a community building by playing on the lake together.

Caring for Animals

As a community, we served at the non-profit Five Oaks Wood Farm, which had chickens, sheep, and other animals. We had hands-on animal care and cleared debris from the storms so that the water could drain properly and not flood the education classroom. The sheep were being sheared. We also visited the waterfall. After the service event, we created a community by eating lunch together and playing on Old Hickory Lake.

Community Shoreline Cleanup

This is always a favorite community event. We meet at Mallard Point Boat Launch in Hendersonville, TN, and clean up the shoreline with our stand-up paddle boards and kayaks. Then, we create community together by eating at Saunder’s Ferry Pizza.

Impact Friday

Come join us, and together, we can create a community by serving the non-profits in Sumner County.
